Questions about expenses for creative studios

Should every creative asset purchase go on the client invoice?
Only pass on costs your agreement allows. You can record a project expense without treating it as a separate client charge. Check licensing terms separately; expense tracking does not manage asset usage rights.
Can I bill the same asset purchase to several studio clients?
Do not assume so. Check the agreement and keep a supportable project cost. A receipt does not establish licensing rights or authorise charging the full purchase more than once.
